The President’s Office has launched a new online directory of state institutions to make it easier for the public to find accurate information about government bodies in one place.
The directory is part of the government’s efforts to improve public administration and promote transparency under its “Maldives 2.0” vision. It is available at directory.presidency.gov.mv.
State institutions have been instructed to inform the President’s Office whenever their details change, including the name of the institution’s head, official address, contact information and social media accounts. Updates can be submitted through the inquiry form on the directory website or by email.
The government has also directed all state institutions to use the official names listed in the directory in both Dhivehi and English. These names must be used consistently across official documents, publications, internal databases, websites and social media accounts.
